The Lindbergh Foundation is pleased to announce that John King, co-chairman of King Schools, Inc., the world’s leading producer of aviation and pilot training videos and FAA Knowledge Test preparation software, has been elected to serve as chairman of the board of directors of the Lindbergh Foundation. Together with his wife, Martha, John King owns and operates King Schools, Inc., a highly respected flight training school that has transformed the way pilots receive their ground school training. For more than a decade, they have used their clear, simple and fun video training courses to teach nearly half of the new private and instrument pilots in the United States. King Schools continues to revolutionize pilot training by pioneering the development of multimedia training programs on many aviation subjects including ground-breaking programs on aviation risk management. A graduate with distinction from Indiana University, John holds every class and category of pilot and instructor rating offered by the FAA. John works with the FAA’s National Aviation Safety Program in producing safety videos, appears frequently on national television as an aviation expert, and received the 2004 "Excellence in Pilot Training" award from the National Air Transportation Association. |
