Thank you for your interest in The Lindbergh Foundation’s Annual “On-line Silent Auction.”

This year’s auction is being held in conjunction with the 2010 Lindbergh Award Celebration on April 14, 2010 at the Buehler Restoration Center at Sun ‘n Fun in Lakeland Florida. Since not everyone in the aviation community will be at Sun 'n Fun, we are opening the bidding to on-line participation, so that everyone has a chance to win these incredible, one-of-a-kind, chance-of-a-lifetime items. You are invited to participate in—and win!— the items offered in this auction, even if you cannot attend our Event in Florida.

Here's how this unique silent auction works:

Each of these items listed will also be offered at the live auction on the night of our 2010 Lindbergh Award Celebration on April 14, 2010.
The highest price for each item offered during the advance on-line bidding will be noted as an “absentee” bid that night.
If no higher bids are received during the live auction, the online bidder wins!
Unless you're at our celebration in person, you won't get a chance to up your bid, so be sure to send in your best offer prior to the close of on-line bidding at 4 p.m. CT Tuesday, April 13.

You'll have a chance to watch the bids for this item until the deadline for advance bids on Tuesday, April 13 at 4 p.m. CDT. If you're not outbid on that night, you win!

6. Erik Lindbergh Sculpture Erik chose to use the incredibly capable Lancair Columbia aircraft to do the 17-hour and 7-minute flight. After flying this aircraft for many years, he came to understand the bond that his grandfather felt for the "Spirit of St. Louis" and why he referred to the flight as "We."
