The Anne Spencer Lindbergh Prize program honors Anne Spencer Lindbergh, eldest daughter of Charles and Anne Morrow Lindbergh, who died of cancer in 1993 at the age of 53. Anne Spencer Lindbergh was an acclaimed author of juvenile fantasies which place ordinary children in extraordinary situations.
